Lucy Wren is a fiction and poetry writer from Dorset. She writes about the intricacies of human relationships through the lens of humour.
Lucy recently completed her Master of Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing and is working on her domestic / humour fiction novel.
Her mental health awareness zine 'I Don't Want To Go Insane' has been showcased worldwide and her poem Mother, Woman, Other was shortlisted for the Bournemouth Writing Prize. It then went on to be published in their anthology 'Cutting It Short'.

Lucy developed her creative writing across a variety of forms, focusing on transmedia storytelling and skills to independently publish her work; learning skills in editing, PR and marketing, design, production, and budgeting.
Lucy also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing prior to this.
I Don’t Want To Go Insane Zine
Upon discovering a lack of mental health support while at university, Lucy launched a collaborative zine that showcased the work of artists dealing with mental health issues. What started as a campus-based project became world-wide within a year, with Lucy even hosting a talk at San Diego Zine Festival. Lucy and a team now run zine making workshops at festivals including Green Man Festival and End of the Road.

Lucy wrote weekly articles on newly released music from both upcoming and chart-topping artists, and regularly reviewed live shows for Tap The Feed, a Bristol-based blog.
